Marie Madeline Gonzalez (82) passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 14, 2019. She was born on October 23rd 1936, in New York, N.Y. She married her childhood sweetheart, Richard Gonzalez in 1957.
She worked as a secretary and school bus driver in New York, and after moving to Las Vegas, NV in 1989, she worked as Director of Housekeeping until she retired in 2000.
Marie loved cooking and spending time with family & friends. She loved video poker, bingo, crocheting, reading, and Hallmark movies. She had a huge heart and would help anyone in need. She was especially proud of her grandson, he was her pride and joy.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Irma Palladino; her husband, Richard Gonzalez Sr.; and her brothers Angelo Palladino and Gene Palladino.
She is survived by her sister, Rosemary (Rich) Marcus; sister-in-law Patricia Brozo Palladino; her children Richard (Debbie) Gonzalez Jr.; Robert (Arlyne) Gonzalez; grandson Robert Gonzalez Jr.; and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2019, at Palm Eastern Mortuary at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Palm Eastern Cemetery
