Martha Dinorah Lopez

She was born July, 29, 1937 in San Salvador, El Salvador to Maria Oliva and Ricardo Avran Espinoza. She found her soul mate and partner for life at the age of 36 in Los Angeles, California, where she met and married Jose Lopez.

Before coming to America, Martha was a celebrated nurse for the REDCROSS in her country of origin. Upon her arrival to America she worked with several respected families as a caretaker and eventually a homemaker, where her passion, devotion, and love for her family shined brighter than the sun.

Martha loved cooking, especially for her family. Most times she would cook individual meals for each family member depending on their preference. Her biggest joy, however, were her grandchildren Valerie, Vivian and Mathew. She enjoyed walks in the park, dining with her family, helping others, friends, and of course her telenovelas.

She is survived by her husband, Jose; her two sons Louis and Mauricio; and several grandchildren, all of whom live in Las Vegas and brought joy to her throughout her life.

Viewing services will be held at 10:00am to 2:00pm followed by Funeral services at 2:00pm, December 18, 2017 at Palm Eastern Mortuary. Burial will be held at 3:00pm at Palm Eastern Cemetery.
