Maxwell Nakamura, long time resident of Las Vegas, NV, passed away on September 6, 2024 at Spring Valley Hospital. He was born on May 9, 1935 to Kenji and Katoy Nakamura in Hana, Maui where he attended grade school and high school. Maxwell joined the Army at age 18 and served in the Korean War. After the war, he married Nancy in Honolulu, HI and worked for Hawaiian Telephone. Maxwell moved to Las Vegas, NV and was employed by the Nevada Test Site until his retirement. He was an avid golfer and a proud member of the Shriners. He coached Little League Baseball and basketball. Maxwell is survived by his wife, Nancy and son, Daryl. He was preceded in death by his brother, Buster Nakamura and his son, Guy.
