Metropolitan Ilia (Katre) of Philomelion of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away on October 6, 2022. Husband of the late Helen (Sotira) Katre. Beloved father of Sotir Mark Katre, Eugenia Kourlos and her husband Christos. Loving grandfather of Gabriel (Connor), Dhimitra, Ilia. A visitation will be held on Monday, October 10th from 4:00 - 8:00pm with Trisagion Service at 7:00 pm in the Holy Trinity Albanian Orthodox Church, 245 D Street, South Boston, MA. On Wednesday, October 12, 2022 Visitation from 4:00 - 8:00pm with Trisagion Service at 7:00 pm at St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church, 5300 South El Camino Road, Las Vegas, Nevada. Funeral Services on Thursday, October 13, 2022 Orthros 8:30 am, Divine Liturgy 9:30 am followed by Funeral Service officiated by Archbishop Elpidophoros of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America at 11:00 am. Interment Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan in the family plot.
