Michael DeLessio

Michael DeLessio was born on July 4, 1949 in Brooklyn, New York. He was a graduate of Oceanside High School in Oceanside, New York and was raised in Island Park, New York. He relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1984 and worked for the City of Las Vegas as a supervisor. He leaves behind his daughters, Christina DeLessio-Sapone and her husband Boris and Rose Fuscaldo-Golgart and her boyfriend Rick Janise; his life-long friend, Christine DeLessio; his mother Carol Patalano; his sisters Jeanette Cohen and her husband Perry, Carol Patalano, and Terry DeLessio and their families; his brother, Victor Patalano and his wife Amy; and his grandchildren Rylie and Ricky Golgart and his nieces and nephews. Michael passed from a heart attack after heart surgery on Sunday, October 19, 2014. Michael had a big heart and was always there to help his family and friends. His love and gracious nature was felt by everyone he was in contact with. He took care of everyone in his daughter’s dance studio. When children needed anything from ice cream, food, or a stuffed animal he was there. He was a friend to all, a father to those who needed direction and a loving soul to relate to. He was loved by all will be greatly missed. A visitation will be held from 2:00-6:00pm on Friday, October 24, 2014 with services following, both at Palm Eastern Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Avenue, Las Vegas, Nevada 89123.
