She was born on June 5, 1949 in Subic, Zambales, Philippines to Conrado Custodio Sr. and Teotista Ammay. She got married to her partner for life, Manuel D. Israel, in the Columban Church in Olongapo City, Philippines on February 17, 1973.
Milagros received a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the Columban College in Olongapo City, Philippines. She taught 1st grade. She had worked until her partner asked her to marry her..."to be the mother of my kids and to be the queen of my home", Manuel had proposed. Shortly after marriage and giving birth to her children, Milagros became a full-time housewife who loved, nurtured, and gave affection to her husband and children.
Milagros was known for her pleasing personality, making others laugh with her jokes, and cooking delicious Filipino food. She also loved going out to dine and enjoyed fine cuisine. She was very social and loved to dance, especially ballroom and folk dancing. Whenever she attended an event where there was dancing, she would always get on the dance floor and dance until the party or event was over. She was also a dance instructor that taught Filipino folk dancing. Her graceful dancing along with her smile would always light up a room.
She is survived by her husband Manuel; her two sons Julius and Jan; and her siblings Roberto, Teresita, Conrado Jr., and Maria Concepcion.
Milagros will be greatly missed.
