Mina Rae Stewart Hardy, 80, a retired teacher, of Henderson, passed away Aug. 29, 2011. She was born Jan. 24, 1931, in Price, Utah, and was a 20-year resident of Nevada. She was a former member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers, a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and former ordinance worker in the Las Vegas Temple for 11 years. Mina was preceded in death by her son, Dr. Bradford Hardy; and sister, Mary Lou Hardy. Mina is survived by her husband, of 60 years, Russell Hardy; daughter, Roxanne Hardy; grandson, Russell Huntington; and sisters, Joyce (Nyle) Adams and Marva (Dell) Sullivan. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 2, at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Visitation again 10-11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, with services following, both at the Green Valley Stake Center, 410 Valle Verde. Graveside services will be at the Alamo Cemetery in Alamo.
