Mina Whitfield

She was born at home on July 11, 1942 to Felton and Myrtle Jesienouski in Cando, North Dakota. She had three brothers and three sisters. Both of her parents and one brother has preceded her in death. She married Daniel Whitfield in 1963 and this year they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

After finishing high school in Cando, North Dakota, Mina enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1962 and she left the service in October 1963 to start her family. She had four children; three sons and a daughter. She joined the Air National Guard in Montana in 1978, where she served as a medical clinic manager for eight years. Mina also was a legal secretary at Johns Manville.

Mina is survived by her spouse Daniel Whitfield; three of their children Steven, Mark, and Pamela; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at Palm Eastern Mortuary on 7600 S. Eastern Avenue, Las Vegas, Nevada on November 24, 2013 at 2:00pm for visitation and her service will at 3:00pm.
