

Minerva was born in Jayuya, Puerto Rico to Tito Batista and Emilia Delgado on November 28, 1944. She went to school in La Escuela Gripiñas. She worked as a Guest Room Attendant for The Riviera Hotel, where she later retired from. She was a hard-working single mother. Her superior role and dedication to her 5 children allowed them to prosper and become successful individuals. Her inspiration taught her children hard work and perseverance. Minerva’s motivation is unmatched and will continue to thrive not just with her children but with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Minerva is preceded in death by her father Tito, mother Emilia, brothers Carmelo and Carlos, and her grandson Alexis.
Minerva is survived by her children, Carmen Lily and husband Daniel, Mary and husband Jorge, Miriam, Hector and wife Vicky, and Carlos and wife Margarita. Her grandchildren Wilka, Jeannette, Kayla, Jhaun Carlos, Hector Javier, Carlos JR, Cristian, Liliana, Lynette, Judieliz. Her great-grandchildren Jazmin, Janaya, Angel, Brenda, Lexi, Josiah, Adalyiza, Haziel, and Carlos III. Her siblings, Gilberto, Felix, Tata, Nandy, Neida, Miguel, Olga, Celia, and Jero.

Pallbearers will be Carlos Pabon, Jhaun Carlos Pabon, Carlos Pabon, Jr, Cristian Pabon, Felix Batista, Daniel Martinez, Ricardo Batista, and Jorge Oritz.
