Nancy Ann Edens

Nancy Ann Edens, age 79, of Bullhead City, Arizona, went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at Nathan Adelson Hospice, Las Vegas, NV. She was surrounded by family. Nancy Ann Edens was born in Trenton, New Jersey, on May 1, 1937, the daughter of August Albert and Helen (Barre) Fink. She was a longtime resident of Southern California before moving to Arizona in 1999. She retired as an Insurance Claims Adjustor from AETNA Insurance Company. She completed her Associates Degree in Art at Mohave Community College in 2008. She loved gardening, painting, quilting, crocheting, and crafts. Nancy is survived by her 3 children and spouses: John (Laura) Cartlidge, Bullhead City, AZ, Donna Sanders, Atlanta, GA, and Dale (Michael) Layhee, Huntington Beach, CA; 6 grandchildren and spouses: Natalie (Allan) Kellogg, Kevin (Lauren) Sanders, Monica (Donovan) George, Stephanie Cartlidge, Joshua (Vanessa) Cartlidge, and Brianna (Steve) Montgomery; and 6 great-grandchildren: Hudson, Riley, Piper, Aiden, and Haddon Sanders, and Hazel Grace Kellogg. She was preceded in death by her eldest grandson, Michael Raymond Layhee, Jr., her sister Elizabeth (Libby) Leigh, and her brothers Albert Fink, Allen Fink, and Larry Fink. Our precious Mother and beloved Nana loved God, her children, and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family and we will love and cherish her in our hearts forever. A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. at Calvary Chapel Bullhead City, 1690 Newberry Drive. “I am the resurrection and the life.
