Narciso was born November 11, 1935 in San Carlos, Pangasinan, Philippines. He fell in love and found his partner for life at the age of 23, when he married Lourdes Masangcay from Angeles, Pampanga, Philippines and had eight siblings. Narciso or Nars, who everyone called him, worked as auto mechanic where he owned a business in automotive shop to support his family before he became a seaman and at the same time took a teaching position on automotive in a technological school. He completed to practice and was licensed as chief marine engineer from the Board for Engine Officers in 1982, on vessels of tonnage/cargo shipping upon the waters of any sea or ocean. Before he became Chief Engineer, he started as third engineer and got promoted to 2nd engineer with his dedication, hard work and again for his love to his family. It was a challenge for him living in America because he had to adjust in so many ways. Besides helping to take care of his grandchildren, looking for a job was quite difficult for his age. He got a job with Toyota motors and at the same time went to adult school to brush up on his skills in automotive. Unfortunately, Toyota had to lay off people and he was one of them. In 1997, he moved to Las Vegas, Nevada to look for another job with the help of a friend and was employed in Union Plaza Casino as a porter. He was loyal, courteous, and a humble employee. Narciso had quite memorable experiences and sacrifices living in Las Vegas. Narciso was very proud because he was able to acquire a house with his hard work. He retired in 2009. Narciso loved good food but home cooking was his choice, his hobbies and activities were pretty much fixing cars. He liked talking to people just exchanging ideas and experiences in life.
