
Nick was born in Glendale, CA to Armando and Barbara Gallegos on July 19, 1960. Nick spent his later adolescent years in Albuquerque, NM graduating from Manzano High School. Nick later moved to Las Vegas, NV to pursue his career as a bartender and Mixologist. Over the course of his 30-year career in Las Vegas he worked for many area casinos to include Tropicana, Bellagio and South Point Casino. Most recently Nick had also worked with City Lights Shine(CLS) as a brand ambassador.
Nick loved to travel, he has travelled through most of the U.S., and has explored parts of Asia, Europe, and South America. No matter where Nick went, he was making friends, he was always ready to have a conversation and learn something new about the culture. Nick’s bartending career provided him plenty of opportunities to travel.
Nick was one of those rare individuals that had the unique ability to meet people and get along with them right away. Nick always made others feel that they had his full attention and was genuinely concerned with their well-being. Nick cherished his family and friends and very much enjoyed the time spent with them. He was also an avid sports fan and die-hard Anaheim Angel and Las Vegas Golden Knight fan.
He had a great sense of humor and an infectious laugh. Nick will be remembered most as a wonderful dad, son, brother, uncle and a friend to many.
Nick is survived by his children Nicole Gallegos, Zachary Gallegos and Adam Gallegos, granddaughter Lizzy Gallegos, parents Barbara Gallegos and Armando Gallegos(Angie Gallegos),his brothers Mark Gallegos (Renae Shur Coraci), Steve Gallegos and Dan Gallegos(Tammy Gallegos), his loving fiancé Michelle Hernandez, former spouse Anita Flynn and many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on September 23, 2020 at 1:00 pm at Palm Southwest Mortuary, 7979 W. Warm Springs Rd., Las Vegas, NV. Celebration of Life will immediately follow at 4:00 pm at Palm Southwest Mortuary.
