Oscar Lobangco Tolentino

Oscar was loved by so many, his lovely wife, Naty Tolentino, by his four beautiful children, Cielo Martinez, Liza Bautista, Merly Caraballo, and Mark Tolentino. He was also blessed to have many incredible grandchildren Rociel, Geoffrey and Patrick Martinez, Raymond and Eliza Bautista, Maricar Stubbs and Eleanor Grace, Ryan Eileen and Abigail Reese Tolentino. Survived by two sisters Emmy Villamar and her family and Eden Tolentino and her children.

Oscar was born on January 15, 1935, in Bongabong, Nueva Ecija, Philippines. He was the third son of Apolonio Dizon Tolentino and Maria Carmen Ventura Lobangco. He completed his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at the University of the East in Manila, Philippines in 1966. After 5 years of doing business for varied companies including his own, he migrated to the USA in 1971. He studied automotive mechanics in Chicago while working full-time at Holiday Inn until he opened his own business in auto repair and body shop.

He loved to travel and had a great time dining out and enjoying life. He had visited countries in Europe and Southeast Asia, as well as several states in the USA. He was an extraordinary example of being giving, caring and loving. Because of these, his fond and loving memories thrive in all his family members today. He will continue to be loved and missed by everyone. Rest in peace Oscar Lobangco Tolentino.
