Patricia Ann Brown (née Arcuri) was born on February 8th, 1940, in Buffalo, New York, and passed on May 3rd, 2026, in Las Vegas, Nevada, at the age of 86.
Patricia graduated from St. Mary’s Business School at the age of 16, sparking a lifelong love of all things office and a talent for keeping businesses organized and running smoothly.
After the passing of her father, Patricia, then in her twenties, moved to California with her mother and brother. In December 1974, Patricia married Ed, and together they embarked on a journey that led them from California to a farm in Newberg, Oregon, and finally to Las Vegas, Nevada, raising their family along the way.
Life on the farm brought her joy through the care of its animals, especially her horse named Love. She adored long drives through the countryside and anything that bloomed.
In her later years, Patricia found purpose in reconnecting with her New York family through genealogy and social media, rediscovering and strengthening ties that meant so much to her. She also enjoyed outings with her daughters, browsing home stores in search of treasures to make her home more beautiful and welcoming. She found simple pleasure in watching the quail, hummingbirds, and rabbits that frequented her yard.
Though she considered herself an introvert, Patricia never hesitated to strike up conversations with strangers, often turning those encounters into friendships. People described her as the sweetest lady, and her sense of humor remained intact until the end.
Preceded in death by her husband of nearly 45 years, Patricia is survived by their children, Jim, Sandra, Michele, Dina, Carla, and Maria; grandchildren, Charles, Nicole, Heather, Michael, Mindy, Melissa, Eric, Brenden, Alec, Emmerie, Nick, and Noah; and great-grandchildren, Maebree and Madelyn.
A woman strong in her Catholic faith, Patricia loved her family and friends fiercely, as was evident in her lifelong devotion to them. She will be deeply missed.
A Committal Service will be held at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Mem, Boulder City, NV 89005, US, on May 15, 2026, from 10:40 am to 11:10 am.
