Patsy Ann McGee

Patsy A. McGee, at the age of 86 from Cypress, California passed away of natural causes on July 18, 2017 in Nathan Adelson hospice care at Del Mar Gardens of Henderson, Nevada. Patsy was born on December 3, 1930 in Long Beach, California to George and Edith Dewey. She attended Long Beach Poly High School. She became a homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother (Gumby) and great grandmother. Patsy’s unconditional love for her family was unrivaled. She loved being outside, enjoyed gardening, birds and just enjoying nature while drinking a nice glass of Chardonnay. She was always up for going to play her favorite video poker machine. Graveside services will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Cypress, California on September 16, 2017 at 10:30 am. A celebration of her life will follow at the Weeks’ residence at 2:00 pm in Temecula, California. Patsy is preceded in her death by her Father and Mother, George and Edith Dewey, Husband John E. McGee and her sisters, Carol Forsberg and Connie Evans. Patsy is survived by her four children; Paul McGee of California, Maureen Weeks (Steve) of California, Eileen Russell of Texas, John McGee (Sherry) of Henderson, Nevada and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family wishes to thank Del Mar Gardens and Nathan Adelson Hospice of Henderson for the excellent care, comfort, compassion and love they provided.
