

Paul Franklin Bartolo, 84, was born on January 31st, 1942 in Salida, Colorado, to Dean and Josephine Bartolo. He attended St. Joseph’s Catholic School for seven years, and then went to Pueblo Catholic High School for three years to study for the priesthood. When he realized that this was not his calling, he went to Salida High School and graduated in 1959.
After spending a year in New York, he attended college at Western State in Gunnison, Colorado and graduated in 1964 with a degree in Secondary Education. He continued his education at Northern Arizona University completing his Masters of Arts in Education. He went to Las Vegas and taught at Hyde Park Junior High, Ed. W. Clark High School and later Bishop Gorman High School. While at Clark his wrestling team won state two years in a row. In 2010, he was inducted to the National Wrestling Hall of Fame for the Lifetime Service Award.
Paul was a swimming pool contractor and a 21 and baccarat dealer at Caesars Palace for 14 years. Next, he was the owner of Nevada Coin Machine Company. He enjoyed golfing, camping, and watching all sports; especially when his children were playing. Summers were spent in San Diego at their condo for years.
Most importantly Paul loved his family. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Judy, Son Rob and wife Judy, granddaughters Sophia and Isabel; Son Nick and wife Aubrey, and granddaughters, Bailey, Grey, and Ryan. He is also survived by nieces in Las Vegas; Kim, Kristin, Casey, and their families and several cousins. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Charles (Chuck), and daughter Deena Ann. He will surely be missed by family and friends.
