Paul A. Mathieu, 73, a long-time resident of Las Vegas, Nevada, died Friday, February 15, 2013, at home. He was born on March 13, 1939 in Biddeford, Maine, to Adrien and Janet (Pelletier) Mathieu Warner.
He was educated in Biddeford and graduated from Biddeford High School in 1958. He had been employed at the Clark County School District as an air condition mechanic on school buses before retiring.
Paul is survived by his wife, Maria (Medina) Mathieu of Las Vegas, Nevada; children, Robert (Mathieu) Hunt of Massachusetts, Diane (Mathieu) Hunt of Colorado, Kristine Dumas and her husband, Danny of Virginia, and Richard Mathieu of Biddeford. He also leaves his brother, Eddie Mathieu and his wife, Sonya of Biddeford; sisters, Lucille Moreau and her husband, Ernest M. of Arundel, Maine, and Anita Mathieu of Las Vegas, Nevada; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
