Phil was a devoted youth football coach, a loving family man and a friend to all.
Phil was preceded in death by his father Thomas Mendiola and brother Michael Matthew Mendiola.
He is survived by his wife Shannon; his children Tasi Angelica and Tano-Michael Matua; brothers Sean Edward and Thomas Drake; and mother Bernadette.
Funeral arrangements will be held at Palm Eastern Mortuary on July 2, 2020 at 4:30pm.
