Phyllis Ann Millar, 80, a resident of Las Vegas, Nevada for over 15 years, passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2018. She was born on July 16, 1937 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Aurelia and Philibert Bourdreax.
Phyllis was married to Charles (Charlie) Millar for 45 years before he passed in 2006.
Phyllis was a dedicated spouse of a military officer for over 30 years. She loved to play bridge, dance, and spend time with friends. She could always be counted on to bring something good to eat to any event. She was known by many names…Phyllis to her friends, PA to her family, Mimi to her grandchildren, and Mamma. She had sparkling blue eyes and a great smile; people loved to be around her.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Charles Millar.
She is survived by her three children: daughter Robin (Dan) Buendia; son Chuck (Marge) Millar; son Chris (Jessica) Millar; and a daughter of her heart, Sheryl Wells; four grandchildren (who called her Mimi) Courtney Buendia, Megan Millar, Alex Ballard and Jorden Ballin; and her new life partner Jim Wells - who loved and cared for Phyllis for the past 8 years.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2018 from 1:00 – 3:00pm followed by a funeral service. All services will be held at Palm Eastern Mortuary.
