Richard Robert Gilbert

Richard will be forever remembered by his wife of 20 years, Francesca and his daughters, Natalie 16 and Alyssa 13. Richard will also be remembered by his sister Patricia McKenzie and her husband Michael and son RJ; the entire Gumina Family: mother-in-law Mimma, brothers-in-law Tony and Pete and sister-in-law Trish along with their spouses and children; his Aunt Sherron and Uncle Ronnie and all their family and by all of the friends and co-workers he left behind. Last but not least, he will be missed by the family dogs Daisy and Minnie.

Born in Los Angeles California but raised in Steamboat Springs Colorado, Richard graduated from Steamboat Springs High School in 1983 and then attended college in Texas and Colorado. Richard moved to San Diego where he began his career in real estate in 1991. In 1995 he found himself in the booming town of Las Vegas and decided to make it his home. He became an agent with Prudential Real Estate where he also served as a Sales Manager for many years.

In 1996 he met Francesca and they were married in 1998. They were blessed with 2 amazing daughters and anyone that knew Richard would tell you that they were his everything. Richard was known to many as Disney Dad as he was usually wearing a Disney t-shirt, had lots of Disney stuff and spent much of his time planning a Disney vacation. Richard loved Disney almost as much as he loved his daughters.

As Richard’s wish was to be cremated and taken on one last cruise, there will be no service but the family will hold a private memorial for family and friends.
