

Robert "Bob" Glen Foster, 82, a retired sub-contractor, of Las Vegas, passed away Aug. 4, 2011. He was born Aug. 8, 1928, in Winthrop, Iowa, to his parents, Carl and Pearl Foster. Bob was a devoted son, brother, uncle, husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who enjoyed being around those he loved, watching sports and western flicks, and playing poker and word search. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite and was a proud Shriner. Bob was the brother to Claud, C.F., and Virgil Foster and Donabel Williams. Bob was a very loving husband to his wife, of 41 years, Geneva Foster; and father to Denise Dunaway, Randy and Steve Foster, Shirley Breeden and Jerry Drescher. Bob was a wonderful grandfather to nine grandchildren, Nicholas, Robert, Bambi, Brenda, John, Michael, Erik, Bryan, and Jennifer; and 10 great-grandchildren, Evan, Ian, Derrick, Holanie, Jordan, Tyler, Alyssa, Ryder, Brody and Kade. Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 19. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 20, both at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Shriners Hospital for Children at www.donate2shc.org or you can mail it to 1275 Fairfax Road, Salt Lake City, UT.
