Robert Gene Seals, 80, passed away on June 22, 2017. He was born on November 13, 1936 in Macomb, Illinois to Carl and Aletha Seals (Mayall). Raised in Ipava, Illinois he was the youngest of three boys.
At VIT Consolidated High School, Robert was active in school and sports, including being a class officer and lettering in football, basketball, track and baseball. After completing his Master’s degree in Education from the University of Illinois he joined the US Army Reserve.
Robert began his career as a teacher and coach in Illinois then traveled to Las Vegas in 1962 with his brother Bill to begin a nearly 30 year career in education with the Clark County School District.
