Rolando Alberto y Vilma Artiga

Rolando was born in Puerto La Libertad, El Salvador; where he was a local bus driver. He immigrated to the United States with his wife Vilma in 1975. They decided to settle in Los Angeles, California and had 2 sons, Rolando, and Roberto. After his retirement he and his wife moved to Rockwall, Texas. Ultimately moving to Las Vegas in 2019 where he will be laid to rest with his beloved wife Vilma who had passed away in 2006 in Los Angeles, California.

He was an avid Dodgers and Lakers fan, and enjoyed cheering for his teams throughout the season alongside his sons. He loved all types of music and enjoyed singing and dancing. He loved spending quality time with grandchildren and great grandchildren whenever possible.

Rolando will be remembered by his sons Rolando and Roberto, his 5 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren, his three sisters in El Salvador, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family. He will be dearly missed by all.

A visitation for Rolando will be held Wednesday, December 29, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Palm Eastern Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123. A funeral service will take place Thursday, December 30, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church, 4490 Mountain Vista St, Las Vegas, NV 89121. A committal service will follow on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Davis Memorial Park, 6200 S. Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89119.
