Ryan lived life with curiosity and creativity. He was a true artist in every sense of the word - whether he was playing guitar and singing, sketching and drawing, or creating unforgettable meals from whatever ingredients happened to be nearby. His culinary creations were always inventive, and usually delicious. If Ryan was in the kitchen, something interesting was going to happen.
Gregarious, intelligent, and deeply loving and loved, Ryan had a sense of humor that was all his own and a memorable laugh that could fill the whole house. Life with Ryan was never boring, and often a little unpredictable.
Ryan is survived by his parents, Elle and Vic Valdes; his grandmother, Emma; his sisters, Lauren, Shelby, and Haille; and his nieces and nephew, Ella, Gabriel, Lily, and Nova, who loved him fiercely and will miss him always. He was preceded in death by his brother and childhood partner in crime, Robert Valdes, with whom he shared countless adventures and memories.
Ryan will be remembered for his creativity, his curiosity, his humor, and the laughter he brought into the lives of those around him. He continues to live on in spirit in his loved ones’ lives through memories and laughter - especially laughter.
