I’m going to miss you my friend.  I know all of us will.  Thank you for the great memories we shared coaching the boys. We had a blast brother.  I know how much you loved Finn and that will never change.

The light in this life is a bit dimmer without Ryan. He was a funny, genuine person with a huge heart. I am deeply saddened to hear of his passing far, far too soon.

I worked with Ryan approximately 17 years ago at a small pharmaceutical company called Pharm Force.  Ryan worked for me for approximately 2 years.  What I remember most was his incredible work ethic and his ability to work independently and drive results with little supervision.  After Pharm Force the two of us met again at Astellas Pharma.  When Ryan came to Astellas I got the opportunity to see him WIN.  Ryan came right out of the gates and won multiple National Awards.  It saddened me greatly to receive this new earlier this morning, nothing but positive thought and prayers to a great man, father, and husband.

Ryan was the kind of person who left a lasting impact on everyone he met. His kindness, resilience, and unwavering loyalty to those he cared about were truly remarkable. He had a way of lighting up a room not just with his smile but with his ability to make everyone feel valued and seen.

Whether he was lending a listening ear, cracking a joke to lift someone’s spirits, or stepping up when help was needed, Ryan’s heart was always in the right place. He was a constant reminder of what it meant to be a true friend and a genuinely good person.

The world was brighter because of Ryan’s presence, and those fortunate enough to know him carry a piece of his light in their hearts. He inspired others not just with his actions, but with the quiet strength and love he brought to everything he did. Ryan will forever be unforgettable, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories.

I met Ryan in 2016 watching the Cavs at a local bar having just gotten divorced and being far away from any family or friends.  We hit it off and watched the rest of the playoffs together including seeing them win it all at Ryan's house that summer.  He was a bright light in a very dark time in my life, and a great friend.  I'll always cherish those memories.

Many of us have wondered if we could have a superpower what we’d want our superpower to be.  Maybe we’d wish for strength, the ability to fly or move fast. 
Ryan had a superpower. Ryan’s superpower was love. Whether he was speaking about the people he loved most, like Finn and his family, or he was facing difficult people or situations, Ryan faced it with love. His love was so powerful it strengthened those around him and disarmed the most difficult adversaries.  I loved Ryan. I felt loved by Ryan. I believe his love will always be with me and everyone he loves.  He told me so. The last words Ryan shared with me were “Love you always”

I was deeply saddened to hear about Ryan’s passing. He and I started at Countrywide in the same week back in 2006, both of us brand new to the mortgage business and learning the ropes together. From the very beginning, we formed a little team—leaning on each other, growing, and getting better with every challenge we faced.

Ryan's optimism, infectious laughter, and honest approach to life were truly one of a kind. Those early years working alongside him will always hold a special place in my heart. He had a way of making even the toughest days brighter, and his jovial spirit was something you couldn’t help but admire.

I’ll carry the memories of those times with me always. Ryan was a gift to everyone who knew him, and I know his impact will continue to echo, not just in this life but into the next.

As I remember him, I hold onto the belief that this journey we call life is never truly an end. Ram Dass once said, “Death is absolutely safe. It’s like taking off a tight shoe.” I trust that Ryan has found peace and joy, and that this life was but a chapter leading to the next. I look forward to the day we meet again, in whatever form that may be.

I will forever cherish the memories we shared—the laughs, the adventures, and the unwavering bond we had. Your kindness, loyalty, and spirit will remain with me always. Rest easy, my friend.
