Saimu'a Vivao-Gagne

Our beloved, Saimu’a “Mookie” Vivao-Petty, age 57, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away Thursday April 13, 2023 after a long battle with cancer. She has gone to Heaven to join her father, Vivao Faisiotamoi Vivao, and brothers Tauveve, Nemaia, and Taliese. She was born on the beautiful islands of American Samoa. Saimu’a is survived by her loving husband, Joseph Petty; Mother, Loini Pua Lolesio Vivao; Sister, Tina Ioane; Children – Shanell Tilo, Faisiotamoi Toefoi(d), Tracy Toefoi, Patrick Gagne, Puanani Gagne, Sanu’u Vivao; Grandchildren – Jershell Tauiliili, Von Jayvien Siona, Jacheem Tauiliili, Celine-Nellanda Toefo’I, Kai Gagne, Kailani Gagne; Godchildren – Leilana Blevins, Jalea Petty, Kyla Petty

She is cherished by many as everyone’s favorite Aunt and Cousin. We love you Mom. Ia Manuia Lau Malaga. “John 16:22 – So also you have sorrow now, but I will see you again, and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take your joy from you”

A visitation for Saimu'a will be held Saturday, May 27, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Palm Eastern Mortuary, 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123. A graveside service will occur Saturday, May 27, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Palm Eastern Cemetery, 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123. A reception will occur from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123.
