Savannah Rose McInnis of North Las Vegas, NV, passed away in a car accident on her way home from taking her 2 year old son, trick or treating. She had just turned 17 three weeks prior. She was originally from Camarillo, CA and moved to Las Vegas with her parents in 2006. She is survived by her mother, Julie Schwab-McInnis (North Las Vegas, NV), son Cayden Michael Drew McInnis, sisters Brianna (Miguel) Serratos (Santa Paula, CA), Jasmin McInnis (Oregon), nieces Lexi Sebastian, Arianna Sebastian and Aubree Serratos, nephew, Miguel Serratos, Jr.(Baby Mikey) and fiancé, Jacob Varsalona. She was pre-deceased by her father, Michael Shawn Mcinnis. Savannah was a senior at Odyssey High School and was excited to be graduating in January. She hoped to go to CSN and later UNLV where she would major in Pre-Med with a minor in photography. Savannah was a devoted mother to Cayden, who was just diagnosed with autism. She hated the stereotypes that teenage mothers have and was determined to be an example of how to be successful with a child. A fund has been set up to assist Cayden with his care and ongoing therapy needs. The family requests donations be made in lieu of flowers to the trust in the name of Cayden M.D. McInnis at Bank of America, account number 501011840240.
