

Shelia was a devoted wife to the late Kenneth Droomgoole, a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She is survived by her three children—Wesley Reed, Jaunkesha Reed, and Kenneth Droomgoole—her cherished grandchildren Jamaul Reed and Miles Reed, her siblings Johnny Foster, Larry Wesley, Carol Reed, James “G. Sandy” Reed, and Jaunice Reed.
A woman of extraordinary talent and determination, Shelia wore many hats throughout her life. She was a scholarship recipient at UCLA, a licensed real estate agent, a bank teller at Wells Fargo, and a small business owner. She operated her own catering company, Magnolia’s Catering, and worked at the Raiders Stadium running her own concession stand. Above all, Shelia found her greatest joy in cooking. Known by many as “Chef Sheila,” she served as a chef at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas, where she shared her gift of food and hospitality with countless people. She also was a talented singer and also has a degree in music. Music Institute of Hollywood, at MI Hollywood She loved singing she loved her jazz music and writing music and putting it together. She was an honor student in everything she did.
Shelia was also a faithful member of Mountain Top Baptist Church. She will be remembered for her elegance, courage, glamour, generosity, and her ability to light up any room with her presence. To her family, she was not only a mother but a best friend—an example of strength, love, and perseverance.
Friends and loved ones are invited to celebrate Shelia life on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at Palm Eastern Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89123. Viewing will begin at 10:00 AM, followed by the memorial and funeral service with burial to follow at the Palm Eastern Cemetery.
