

Shen was born June 18, 1939 in Dalin, China to Yi Min and Chung Ling (Chi) Liu. It was there he met and married his beloved wife Tammy Teng in Taiwan, May of 1962.
Shen attended the Chung Hsing University in Taiwan. After coming to the United States, he received his M.S. in Mathematics at Rutgers University in New Jersey. Shen retired from AT&T after a long career there. He and Tammy spent many years raising their family in New Jersey and after retiring decided to move to Las Vegas, where they have spent their remaining years.
Shen enjoyed singing and was a singer in a music band while attending university in Taiwan. He was well known amongst his friends for his rendition of Elvis Presley’s song ‘Let me be your Teddy Bear’. His American name was even Teddy due to his love for this song. It was during his time as a young singer that he caught Tammy‘s eye. Shen continued singing with friends via Karaoke all through the years and even joined an online group in recent years.
Shen is survived by and will be deeply missed by; his loving wife Tammy Teng; his daughter Christina (Tina) and her husband Fredric; his son Todd and his wife Deirdre; his grandchildren Allyson, Caitlyn, and Justin; his brothers Eddy and his wife Su Ying, Andy and his wife Catherine; his sisters Shirley, Margaret and her husband Mike, Irene and her husband Ivan, he is predeceased by sister Shirley Liu; Tammy’s Sisters and Brothers, as well as many nephews and nieces.
Services will be held in Shen’s remembrance on Sunday December 8th at Palm Eastern Mortuary at 7600 South Eastern Avenue in Las Vegas as follows:
The viewing will be from 11am-1pm
Funeral Services from 1pm-2pm
The Burial will be at 2pm
