Stewart Leo Pizzarelle

Stewart was born in Washington DC at Georgetown University Hospital on October 25, 1944 the son of James Willam and Florence (Clawson) Pizzarelle and spent his childhood years in Carmody Hills, Maryland. On May 21,1965 he enlisted in the United States Army. After his honorable service he returned home and met the love of his his life Sonja (Fletcher) Pizzarelle. After only three months of courtship he and Sonja Pizzarelle were married on March 22, 1970 and spent 54 years as a sweet, strong ,kind and loving husband and papa. His dedication, hidden strengths and patience provided a loving home for all.

Stewart worked in mining for 40yrs as a haul truck driver for Cypress Mining Corp Baghdad,AZ and Round Mountain Gold Corp Round Mountain NV.

He has joined his grandson, Seth Stewart Rynio in heaven and will be deeply missed by his wife, Sonja, children, Audra Perchetti & Cherry Pizzarelle, daughter-in-law, Debbie Carter, great grandchildren, Oaklynn & Emma and siblings James Pizzarelle & Suzanne Pizzarelle.

A military burial service for Stewart will be held at 12:40 PM Friday, November 22, 2024 at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Dr, Boulder City, NV 89005.
