Stuart Goroff, 76, of Las Vegas, a retired gaming supervisor passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2017. He was born in New York, NY on December 16, 1940 to Edward and Faye Goroff (Roshwald) and was a Las Vegas resident since 1974. Stuart worked at the Frontier, Fitzgeralds, Treasure Island, MGM, and ended his career at Bellagio. He is preceded in death by his parents and son Blake. He is survived by his former wife Alicia of Las Vegas; son, Preston (Amelia) of Las Vegas; grandson, Carson Goroff of Las Vegas; aunt, Hilda Goroff of Las Vegas; cousin, Alan (Terri Carr) Goroff of Phoenix; two nieces, Barbara Dirienzo of Oceanside, NY and Kim (Jimmy) DeRosa of Oceanside, NY; and nephew, Scott Dirienzo of Oceanside, NY. Visitation will be held at 1:00pm and a funeral service will be at 2:00PM on Wednesday, February 8, 2017, both at King David Memorial Chapel, 2697 E. Eldorado Lane, Las Vegas. Burial will follow at Palm Valley View Cemetery, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Family requests that memorial donations be sent to the American Heart Association. King David Memorial Chapel handled the arrangements.
