Sydelle Joy Doenias

Sydelle Doenias (née Berg), age 94, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2026. She was born in Chicago, Illinois. Sydelle was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend whose warmth, kindness, and sense of humor touched everyone who knew her. She was predeceased by her beloved husband and by her siblings Jean and Evelyn. She is lovingly survived by her daughter, Jodie, and her son, Jeffrey. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Avery, Skylar, Zach, Marc, and Sarah, who brought her immense joy. During her working years, Sydelle worked in property management before retiring. She was deeply committed to giving back to her community and generously volunteered her time teaching children to read at local elementary schools. She also volunteered at the library and at the hospital, always eager to help others. Sydelle cherished time with her family and friends. She loved music and dancing and enjoyed many happy hours playing mah-jongg. Known for her sweet nature and wonderful sense of humor, she had a way of making people smile and feel welcome.

A viewing will be held on Friday, March 13, at 9:00 AM at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89123, with burial to follow.

Sydelle will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
