I just found out that Tom passed away, and I am just heartbroken over it.  Tom was an absolute pleasure to know.  I was privileged to work for him at both Bailey, Banks and Biddle, as well as Roman Times, and have always said that Tom was one of the best bosses of my career.  Always kind, always fair, and just a genuinely nice man.

An end to a fabulous era in Las Vegas.  We had so many fun times and long late night conversations.  We rooted on the Green Bay Packers and Hawkeyes.  He was taken much to young but he changed lives for the better.  I am fortunate to have been his sister and will always admire, respect, and love him. He was a great husband, son, brother, uncle, step-father, step-grandfather, and friend. He was born and raised in Dubuque, kept to these roots, but his home was Las Vegas and his world was Rebecca.

Tom was a wonderful and caring man. We enjoyed our trips with Tom and Rebecca. He was always a great person to be around. As the saying goes only the good die young. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

As I read all of the condolences from others I realized that I don't have any words beyond what has already been said, except this...Tom simply made life more enjoyable for people who knew him.  He was a good man.

Tom was as great a friend as anyone could have. We will miss him dearly. Trips to Las Vegas will never be the same. God has called a great man to be at his side. Denise and I will miss him.

Rebecca and I, Pam Lynch, met Tom and his best friend, Tim after our girls softball game. I think we were at the Rum Runner. Tom and Rebecca have been together ever since. They were a great couple together. And they had a happy life together even though they endured a lot of life's curve balls. They endured together, for each other. I know Rebecca is strong, but this journey will be one of her biggest challenges. Know that God is with you and by your side. He will heal and lighten your pain with His Grace. Tom''s kind heart and effervescent spirit shined brightly and his light will continue to remain in my memories forever.
