Tonya Carol Hall

Tonya Carol Irby-Hall was born on May 5, 1961 in Contra Costa County, California. Tonya was born in the family car on the way to the hospital to her parents Robert Lee and Druella Irby. She was preceded in death by both her mother and father, respectively. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Lorraine Marie Irby-Carter.

Tonya graduated in 1978 from Independence High School in San Jose, California, and went on to get her Master’s Degree in Graphic Arts from Master's Institute. During her high school days, she met and later married Craig A. Hall, Sr. They had two children, a son Craig A. Hall, Jr. and daughter Lisa Willis-Hall and one grandson Shaun Pitts.

Tonya was employed at Konami Gaming, Inc. as a Sales Operations Coordinator for sixteen years and remained there until her health began to fail. She loved bowling and cook-outs with family and friends. Her greatest past-time was drawing cartoon characters and people. Tonya was an outstanding artist and her work was “breathtaking".

Tonya, we bid you goodnight as you take your rightful place with the Angels. Fly high -- spread your wings and soar, and rest in peace until we meet again!

As Tonya joins her beloved parents, her sister Lorraine and other loved ones, her spirit will live on through her family, her loving husband Craig A. Hall, Sr.; her mother-in-law Shirley Faye Hall; two children, Craig and Lisa; one grandson Shaun Pitts of San Jose, CA; four brothers, Harold Alex, (Annette) of San Jose, CA, Romond Lee Irby-Heagler (Valerie) of Richmond, CA, Michael Anthony Irby (Juanita), Dwayne Everett Irby (Terry) of San Jose, CA; her brothers-in-law, Tommy Carter and Herb Hall; sisters-in-law Linda Hall, Shundra Hall and Regina Hall; her step-brothers and sisters, Joyce Cosey, Melvin Cosey, Calvin Cosey and Yolanda Cosey; her best friend forever Brenda Dobson; her Aunts, Joanne Irby-lkner (John) of Sunnyvale, CA, Sadie Tatum of Richmond, CA, Christia Irby of Palo Alto, CA, and Barbara Irby of Las Vegas, NV; her Uncle, Joe B. Irby (Betty) of Jacksonville, FL; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
