Dr. Tripp was my principal at Bridger in the 80s. She was my favorite. I learned how to read early so while my Kindergarten class was learning the alphabet, I got the privilege of reading Dick and Jane to Dr. Tripp. She always gave me root beer barrels, and I just loved and admired that she could read upside down. Dr. Tripp was a truly amazing soul and I’m so lucky that I have these memories and my life was touched and made better by her. 

Our prayers and thoughts are with you and your family at this time of sorrow.  How important it is to cherish the many happy memories that your family has shared together  and to celebrate a life well lived. May God sustain you at this time of such great loss.  While words fail to capture the pain of losing a loved one, we look forward to the time when words will fail to capture the joy of having our heavenly Father return your dear one to you.    So, lets look into the Bible for a wonderful thought that will help give your family the hope and comfort that they need.   It reads like this.  "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out."  John 5:28,29

Dr. Tripp the world down here will sure miss you!  She helped me thur a hard time of my life with laughter.  I worked for her at Jim Bridger elementary School.  What I remember most was her telling me laughter's the  medicine to life, then she would make us laugh.  She made a big different in my life.  RIP Verna

Verna was the best Principal ever. She had all 4 of my kids. I got to know her well because of my oldest son..lol. She understood him though and was so good to my kids and me. She will be missed..

A most incredible woman Will be very missed always picked up the phone when I called and always help me with whatever problems I had I feel very blessed to have had her in Life for 43 years she’s taught me a lot of things gave me a lot of good advice supported me through many things

I first met Verna when she became the principal at my school.  She wasn’t pleased with a frequent practice in our grade level and told us so at our first meeting.  She did it with a humor that made me laugh out loud.  I think we both liked it each other immediately.  I came to love and respect her as a colleague and a friend.  I loved visiting her in Las Vegas.  Both Verna and her sister were so kind and generous.  We kept in touch with several emails and phone calls every week. She was always a cheery voice at the end of line.  She became a big part of my life and I miss her terribly.

Verna was an extraordinary principal and friend! She helped me so much as a single parent by insisting on paying for my youngest son's trumpet every year when I just couldn't afford it.  She also allowed me to attend my other son's track meets and daughter's dance activities whenever possible.  As a principal, the best interest of our student's ALWAYS came first.  She stood by us, her teacher's, as well and had faith in us even if on occasion we lacked that faith in ourselves. Her door was always open to student's and teacher's without fail.  I loved her as a mentor and friend and will miss her and the wisdom she often shared.  I know the reunion with her husband and son was totally AWESOME!  May you rest in peace Verna.

Verna was the best.  She was an amazing advocate for kids, and so loved and respected.  She taught me so much and always made me feel better about myself.

Verna was loved and respected by so many! She made her mark on the education world and her influence will not be forgotten.
