Victoria Bernardo Quintanilla

Victoria Bernardo Quintanilla (Vicki), 63, passed away on Thursday (January 26, 2017) at St. Rose Dominican Hospital in Henderson, NV. She was born in Pasay City, Philippines on December 23, 1953 and grew up in Makati, Metro Manila, Philippines. She graduated from St. Scholastica's College with a Diploma in Secretarial Science in March 1976.

While living in the United States, she held various positions in the educational and banking institutions. She was considered as an excellent employee and was a great friend, as well. She resided in Los Angeles, San Diego and Henderson.

In 1986, she married into a family of three children who recently lost their mother two years before. This was a huge undertaking but she took it head strong. Vicki provided guidance, care and love as she lived life to the fullest. In her spare time she enjoyed the company of family and friends especially at social gatherings and playing bingo and/or mahjong.

She is survived by her husband Rolando; three children Neil Quintanilla (Ivi) of Brick, NJ; Jennifer Quintanilla of Chula Vista, CA; Ryan Quintanilla (Jannel) of Chula Vista, CA; five grandchildren, Nathan, Joshua, Mason, Connor and Piper; in the Philippines, three sisters Estelita Bernardo, Clarita Bernardo and Fe (Salvador Tiangco Jr.); one brother Al Bernardo; nephews, Mark Tiangco (Beverly), Raymond Tiangco (Gieves), Salvador Tiangco III; and grandniece, Rocio.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jose T. Bernardo, Sr.; mother, Aquilina C. Bernardo; and brother, Rev. Msgr. Jose C. Bernardo, Jr.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 4 at 3:00pm at Palm Eastern Mortuary and Cemetery, 7600 S. Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123. Funeral services to follow at 6:00pm. Her final wish was to be cremated and brought back to the Philippines for her final resting place.
