
On April 12, 2010, Roscoe Conklin Young, III, affectionately called “Rusty”, beloved son of Roscoe C. Young, Jr., stepmother, Barbara Carmona-Young of Albuquerque, NM. He is also survived his younger brother, Peter J. Young of Washington, D.C., many close and dear friends who knew and adored him.
Roscoe was born and educated in the schools of Washington, D.C., where he was a boy scout. He completed high school in Florida. Following a semester at Howard University, he pursued a music career (guitar), having declined basketball scholarships offered by several colleges/universities. He had a short employment in the early 1980’s as a ticket agent with U.S. Airways. He later was diagnosed as having Multiple Sclerosis leaving him with increasing disabilities for many years.
A memorial service and interment will be private.
