Hugh Michael MacCormack

Hugh Michael MacCormack peacefully passed away in Laval, on September 4th, at the age of 83 years old. Born in Longford, Ireland, married in England where he became a teacher. He moved with his family to Canada in 1969 and taught at Pius X. He lived in Montreal North until 1980 when he moved to St-François, Laval.

He leaves to mourn his loving wife of 61 years of marriage Margaret Callaghan, their five children: Helen, Anne, Fiona (Patrick), Aidan and Donal (Geneviève), their six grandchildren: Sean (Angie), James (Marianne), Nathaniel, Jesse (Frédérique), Chris (Sami) and Zoé, their three great-grandchildren Serena, Jonah and Billie, his brother John, and many relatives, friends and extended family. He was predeceased by his sister Mary.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 14th, at 2:30 pm at the church of Saint-François-de-Sales, 7070 Boul. des Milles Iles, Saint-François (Laval), H7A 4B3, followed by the burial at the adjoining cemetery. Family will receive condolences as of 1:30 pm.
