Mr. Horace G. Gibson, age 80 of Lawrenceburg passed away on September 17, 2016 at Maury Regional Hospital. He was a native of Lauderdale County, AL, retired from Murray, Inc. in Bicycle Assembly Department and a Baptist.
He is survived by one step-son, Lee Gist (Wanda); several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; three brothers, Billy Gibson (Martha); David Gibson; Charles Gibson (Teresa); four sisters, Joyce Alred, Reba Haggermaker (Bobby), Mary Howard (Johnny), Linda Meeks (David).
He was preceded in death by his wife, Clara Gibson, his parents, Louis & Evie Gibson; three step-children, Larry Gist, Mickey Gist and Joann Looney; two brothers, Gilbert Gibson, Mason Gibson; one sister, Dorothy Madry.
Funeral Service will be held at Pettus-Turnbo Chapel, Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at 11 am with Hobert Seymore officiating and interment in Lawrence County Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held at Pettus-Turnbo, Tuesday, September 20, 2016 5 ~ 8 pm.
