Mr. James Gaston Reavis, age 81 of Leoma died July 20, 2011 at Crockett Hospital. He was a native of Dover, Ohio and moved to Lawrenceburg at a young age. He was a retired Engineer for NASA, U.S. Air Force veteran during the Korean Conflict and a member of the Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Glenda Sue Reavis of Leoma, TN; four sons, Timothy Reavis of Athens, AL, Steve Reavis of Huntsville, AL, Patrick Reavis of Martin, TN, Jeff Wright of Lawrenceburg, TN; two daughters, Rebel Reavis of Memphis, TN, Heather Haynes of Cullman, AL; six grandchildren, Rachael Reavis, Gaston Alexander Reavis, Brittany Jaske, Sawyer Reavis, Hunter Haynes and Evan Haynes. He was preceded in death by two wives, Camille Reavis and Mavis Reavis, parents, Gaston and Lula Grimm Reavis.
Memorial Service will be held at Pettus-Turnbo Chapel, Saturday, July 23, 2011 from 1 ~ 3 pm.
