Mary Anna Smith

Mary Anna Smith, age 90, of Collinwood, TN, passed away on Sunday, March 8th, 2026, at Waynesboro Health and Rehabilitation in Waynesboro, TN. Mary Anna was born on November 13th, 1935 in Laurel, Maryland. Mary Anna worked for many years as a secretary for various state government departments in Palm Beach County, Florida. She was a devoted wife and mother and loved her family dearly. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing Solitaire, and spending time with her loving family and friends. She was a devout Catholic and was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Christ in West Palm Beach, FL, St. Michael’s Catholic Church in St. Florian, AL, and St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Waynesboro, TN.

She was preceded in death by her parents and several siblings; her husband, George Edward Smith Jr, and her son, Drew Smith.

She is survived by her son, Bryn Smith of Collinwood, TN, and a host of friends and distant family members.

Graveside Services will be held at Lake Worth Memory Gardens in West Palm Beach, FL on Thursday, April 26th, 2026 beginning at 2:30 p.m.
