Tyler Brent Powell

Tyler Brent Powell, age 38, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away on Wednesday, January 21st, 2026 at his home in Lawrenceburg. Tyler was born on July 31st , 1987 in Lawrenceburg. Tyler graduated from Summertown High School in 2005 and would go on to receive his Master’s Degree from Martin Methodist College in Pulaski. Tyler worked for many years in the Lawrenceburg Country Club Pro Shop. In his free time, he enjoyed playing video games, watching sporting events and sports news, and had a deep passion for the care of animals. He was a loving son, brother, grandson, uncle, and friend who will be dearly missed.

He was preceded in death by his father, Brent Allen Powell; maternal grandparents, Dave and Mary Risner of Ethridge; paternal grandparents, Paul and Betty Ruth Powell of Lawrenceburg; niece, Evelyn Reese Powell; uncles, Mike Risner, Clayton Risner, and Gary “Gomer” Powell, and grandfather, Jimmy “Duel” Freemon.

He is survived by his mother, Rosemary Jenkins (Jimmy); brother, Cody Powell (Paige); niece and nephew, Brentley and Espen Powell; grandmother, Cynthia Freemon; uncle, Jeff Jenkins; special friend, Bret Holden; his Discord family and many friends; and his canine companion, Sarge.

Visitation will be held at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home on Saturday, February 7th, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The memorial service will be held at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home on Saturday, February 7th, 2026 beginning at 1:00 p.m. Brother Jeff Raymer will be officiating.

Interment will be held at Liberty Hill Cemetery immediately following the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral service expense, the American Diabetes Association, or any local sporting organizations in his honor.
