Mrs. Vernis Irene Yocom, age 83 of Lawrenceburg passed away on November 27, 2015 at NHC of Lawrenceburg. She was a native of Lawrenceburg, TN, retired owner of Oldham’s Restaurant. She was a member of the Liberty Hill Baptist Church.
She is survived by one son, Ron Toungett and wife Tammie of Leoma, TN; eight grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; one brother, Larry Attkisson of Lawrenceburg, TN.
She was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Toungett; a daughter, Linda Toungett Rudolph; parents, Grady and Ruby Risner Attkisson; two sisters, Georgia Attkisson LaCroix and Veder Attkisson Davis.
Funeral Service will be held at Pettus-Turnbo Chapel, Monday, November 30, 2015 at 11 am with Wayne Stanfill officiating and interment in Liberty Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Pettus-Turnbo, Sunday, November 29, 2015, 5 ~ 8 pm.
