On August 19, 2020 at the age of 70, Bishop Carold Lee Shelnutt closed his eyes only to open them in the presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

He is preceded in death by his parents Buran and Velma Shelnutt as well as three brothers, James Shelnutt, Leslie Shelnutt and Ronnie Shelnutt.

He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Kathleen Shelnutt and four children; Ivan Shelnutt Sr., Rachel Kathleen Odom, Mark DeWayne Shelnutt and Kenneth Ray Shelnutt as well as 10 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and one on the way.

Bishop Carold Lee Shelnutt will be forever in the hearts of the many family members, friends and saints in the faith that he impacted!
