

Catherine Ann Woodard, a devoted daughter, sister, and grandmother, peacefully departed this life on May 17, 2025, at the age of 68. She was born on October 1, 1956, in San Antonio, Texas, to David L. Nault Sr. and Germaine J. Nault.
After graduating from Crockett High School in 1974, Catherine embarked on her professional life as a dental hygienist in Austin, Texas. Her creative drive led her to pursue and complete a Cosmetology degree in Waco, Texas, in 1985. Cathy then broadened her experience as a Pharmacy Tech for Randall's for several years, ultimately dedicating many years of her career to ATT as a telephone operator before her retirement.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Catherine was a woman of profound care and dedication to her family. She lovingly served as a caregiver for her mother, Germaine J. Nault, throughout her battle with Parkinson’s Disease. In more recent years, she extended this selfless care to her father, demonstrating unwavering commitment and affection. Catherine cherished her role as a grandmother to her grandchildren, Allison Woodard and Clyde David Woodard, who brought immense joy to her life.
A creative individual with a keen eye for detail, Catherine found pleasure in sewing and various crafting pursuits. Her passion extended to the thrill of discovery at garage and estate sales, where she possessed a remarkable talent for transforming overlooked pieces into treasured home furnishings. Catherine also held a deep appreciation for the natural world, finding solace and beauty in flowers and the delicate presence of birds, particularly hummingbirds.
Catherine was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Germaine J. Nault, and her brother, David Nault Jr.
She is survived and deeply loved by her father, David L. Nault Sr.; her sister, Connie Gray and her husband Ben; her brother, Dennis Nault and his wife Sandi; her son, Samuel Woodard; and her cherished grandchildren, Allison Woodard and Clyde David Woodard. The family wishes to express their deep appreciation for the enduring care and commitment provided by Kristina Hetz to Catherine over the years as her daughter-in-law.
