Dear Grandma Cindy i always enjoyed the board games we played together  you always were a good sport if there were problems  you new what to do. My favorite game to play with you was war a original card game that i loved playing with you. Thank you for the wonderful memories you gave me.

  The starry night sky.  An excellent example when comparing my love and care for you.  Try to count every star surrounding you while you lay comfortably and safely in your own space in the sky, and see how many there are.  Too many?  You could say I love you as much as there are stars in the sky!  The thought of you up there, though, is the true gift I see here.  You are an honest inspiration to me, and I dedicate a portion of my character to you.  Maybe it was fate that made us family, but I really couldn't care less, as long as I get to keep the memories of you for as long as I live.  They were amazing, funny, unique, beneficial, memorial, and lovely.  Over all, they are those memories that, when I look back and think of them, I feel warm and hyper on the inside- like I could do anything.  I love you!

I remember when mama and daddy were at the hospitable and you came and watched us. You helped me with my homework and when your around there was a spark that burned as bright as the sun. You played cards with us and it was the best time ever thank you for a wonderful life with you.

What I remember best about you was how you would enjoy playing with my siblings.  You had the kindest spirit, and you were the most gentle person I had the privilege of knowing.  For those reasons I chose purple as my favorite color because it was yours.

I love the games we used to play with the other kids:  cards, apples to apples, sorry, etc.  We had so much fun.  You were very helpful and kind too.  Sometimes when I woke up, you would be doing the dishes.  Thank you for all the advice you gave me and my family. Solving problems, being a peacemaker, and acting as a role model  were some of the inspiring quality's you shared with us.  Thank you for everything that you provided for our family. We miss you!

So sorry for your loss..she always said what was on her mind I loved that about her.  I worked at St Joseph's with her and Nancy was bff for 45 years.  Reconnected when she lived down the road from Nancy.  Super lady and awesome nurse.

About a week ago we had a Celebration of Life dinner with my own family in Temecula at one of mom's favorite places - Souplantation.  She was there, in spirit and picture at the end of the table - thanks to my wife for organizing this.  She loved going with us and getting a giant plate of salad with extra blue cheese dressing, olives and a few mushrooms, followed up by one (or two) bowls of her favorite - clam chouder soup with extra bacon bits and a side of cornbread followed by a cup of coffee.  We've been going there forever, especially when she visited, and the staff new her.   As you can see, the kids each made something for her based on what they remember of her, some were very clever - Taylors purple snake story, Elliot's hand made dice like his grandma hung from her car mirror, Hanna's incredible hand drawn 'wolf on butterfly wings' picture, and the others with storyboards telling what they remember of thier favorite game they played with her.  Since our kids are still young we will be making a picture board in the hallway so that she is not forgotten.  Ma, you will never be forgotten.

Ma,
First, we miss you terribly.  It doesn't seem real, 75 is to young and, selfishly, we needed you here a bit longer.  Please make sure to drop in and see the progress of your grandchildren - I wanted them to know you better.   A cup of coffee on a sunny day will not pass without wishing you are here to visit, chat and work on Grandfather's old pictures.    You went through so much in life, not all of which was planned.  We are happy to have have been there with you and thank you for helping us through our own challenges.   No regrets!  You were strong, independent and as my sis and brother would agree, occaisionally stubborn.   :)   You were unwaiveringly supportive, we needed that.   You are a great mother and are our dear friend.  I admire you.  You instilled strength in me.  I am proud to be your son.  Love you always,
