

Beth was born in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada on April 24, 1946 and was the daughter Francis Alexander Phillips and Catherine Mable Cronk and step-daughter of Gordon E Gallagher, all of Canada.
She was a financial analyst for IBM & Cadence Design Systems after retiring from IBM. She lived in Saint John, Tucson Arizona – where she graduated from Catalina High School, Toronto Canada, Gaithersburg Md, Manassas, Virginia.
On April 3, 1982, Beth married Charles (Chuck) Hull Schoepflin in Austin,Texas and since then has lived in the Austin,Texas area - primarily in Lago Vista - for many years.
Beth was well loved by all who knew her and was always helping others – always with a smile, Beth was a very big cat lover – having a house full of cat knick-knacks and a whole different set of them for her most favorite time of the year - XMAS. (The entire house was redecorated every year with XMAS decorations). She also loved to attend musicals as part of the Broadway to Austin series and she was a big hockey fan supporting the local Texas Stars Hockey club.
She leaves besides a sorrowing husband, Charles (Chuck) Hull Schoepflin, 2 step sons: Derek Steven Schoepflin of Houston, Texas, & his family, wife, Jennifer Baldauf Schoepflin, their children; Jax Reutgers Schoepflin & Jade Matteson Schoepflin; Jon Thomas Schoepflin of Austin, Texas & his family, wife, Shannon Garland Schoepflin, their children, Amery Emil Schoepflin and Piper Dee Schoepflin; a brother – Randolph (Randy) Phillips and his wife, Doreen MacDonald Phillips of Cedar Park, Texas; a brother-in-law, Robert Schoepflin and his wife, Carol Morano Schoepflin of Atlanta, Georgia; Nieces, Jessica Schoepflin Reichard of Atlanta Georgia, Crystal Phillips of Leander, Texas, and Kim McAninch of Cedar Park, Texas and Vicki McAninch of Texas; nephews, Jason Phillips of Ashville, North Carolina; Justin Phillips of Round Rock, Texas and James McAninch of Cedar Park, Texas; 12 great nieces/nephews, and her beloved cats, Luke, Vader, and Leah.
In Lieu of flowers, the family would ask for consideration of contributions to the Lymphoma Center part of the MD Anderson Cancer Research Center in Houston, Texas.
A private family burial will take place Saturday, December 28, 2019 at the Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home & Cemetery 14501 North Ih 35 Pflugerville, Texas with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 2:00 P.M. at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 1200 S. Bagdad Rd, Leander, Texas 78641.
