He was the most incredible son, brother, grandson, family member, and friend. Jeremy was born on June 15, 1976 in Oxnard, California. He moved at age 14 to Austin Texas. He graduated from McNeil High School class of 1994 and attended college in Austin. He was locally employed by Allergan Company as a Business Development Specialist.
Jeremy was an adventurous soul throughout his life. His passion for skateboarding began at age 4 when he acquired his Aunt Patrice's skateboard. His first skating injury was a broken clavicle at age 5. He suffered a few more breaks and sprains but it never calmed his skateboarding spirit. At his peak he was an X-Games sponsored competitor. He made it a priority to skate or be involved in a skating activity on a daily basis. He also enjoyed mentoring young skaters and was an avid collector of skateboard merchandise and memorabilia. Another favorite activity that Jeremy enjoyed on a regular basis was riding his OM Flyer bicycle. He loved spending time customizing and accessorizing it.
Jeremy's all time favorite personal time was spent with his dogs, Zephyr and Skoshi. He loved pampering them, taking them on runs and walks at Walnut Creek and to the dog park for socializing. He loved all animals and was a dad to many throughout his life.
Jeremy's quiet time included working on his artwork, drawing, sketching, and collecting eclectic type art work. He liked listening to music of all genres, reading autobiographies, and watching documentaries. He loved watching and attending LA Lakers and Dodger games and collecting their memorabilia.
Jeremy will forever be remembered by his family, work family, and many friends for his quick wit, infectious grin, and for his ability to find humor in some of the most random things. His compassionate spirit and inner drive to help others achieve their life and work goals was a very natural part of Jeremy's personality.
Jeremy will be missed every moment of each day by his mother, Linda Dolan; father, Louis Fisk; sister, Jerilyn Olson, (Brian Quinlan); nephew, Watson Quinlan; grandmother, Elva McClure; and by his aunts, uncles, cousins, and many great friends.
We know Jeremy is now with his great grandmother Delfina, grandparents Dolan, his beloved and favorite Uncle Bobby and cousin Kirk. Jeremy is as loved in Heaven as he was here on earth.
We would like to thank the St David's ICU doctors and nurses who assisted in Jeremy's care. A special thank you to nurse Marlli who coordinated the most sincere and loving task of getting Jeremy's dogs allowed into his hospital room to spend the last hours of his life with them.
We would also like to thank Lyle and Conner, Jeremy's skating brothers for coordinating a raffle during an event held at Brushy Creek Skate park. Proceeds from raffle were used to purchase a memorial bench for the skate park in Jeremy's honor.
Memorial contributions in Jeremy's honor to American Society for Prevention of Animal Cruelty and The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society are appreciated.
Bible verse, Hebrews 11:1, "Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see."
Quote, "All that we know about those we have loved and lost is that they would wish us to remember them with a more intensified realization of their reality. What is essential does not die but clarifies. The highest tribute to the dead is not grief but gratitude." Thornton Wilder
We LOVE and MISS you so much Jeremy.
