Johnny Michael Worton Jr. was born on May 10,1969 to Betty Joan Worton and Johnny Worton Sr. in Dallas, Georgia where he grew up. He moved to Texas in late 1978 where he resided the rest of his life. He was preceded in death by his father Johnny and survived by his mother Joan, his sister Sherri, his daughter Kailee Worton (Morgan), his son Tyler Worton, and his two nephews James Keithley and Jackson Roberts.
He was a devoted son and father always making sure to take care of everyone around him and putting the needs of others first.
He was a hard working man. He worked for Jack Wheeler and Tyler Wheeler and in the striping business for well over 30 years. His coworkers were his second family and we can be sure he loved to give them a hard time. Known as the man, the myth, the legend, he was the best striper in the business. His work was his art.
He enjoyed sitting outside, fixing up his old cars. There was never a time he didn’t have a project going. “Come check this out, this is gonna be bada** when I’m done with it” he would say and if he wasn’t bragging on just how cool it was he was yelling at you to grab a tool or hold the dang flash light right.
He will always be remembered for his silly whit and sense of humor. Just “How good lookin he was”. He was a natural prankster and he was never afraid to tell you how it is. He was a good man who loved the Lord and spoke hard truths; He was full of wise counsel and he was always consistently… Johnny. He will always be remembered in the depth of our hearts and our sweetest memories.
Until we meet again… fly high.
