

Louis Charles Haller was born and raised in Austin Texas on June 27, 1933.
He went to John B. Winn elementary, University Jr. High and he graduated from the Steven F. Austin high on12th st in 1950.He excelled in football and spent a lot of time in metal shop. He went to work for coca cola after high school for a year. He joined the Army in 1952 and served all over the world from Europe to the Orient. He served his country with honor for 23 years and retired in1975 as an Master Sergeant with numerous medals and awards.
He met Jonny Ruth Monzingo at Fort Huacucca, Arizona and married her on December 21, 1957. She was the love of his life. They were married 45 years, raised John and Thomas and traveled the world together. After the Army he worked for Ace Fire for over 20 years until be retired from there in 2000.
After that he worked as grandpa to his many grand kids and great grand kids.
He moved to Liberty Hill in 2012 and spent his remaining days taking care of his cats, deer, squirrels and birds. He also spent a lot of time planting trees and cutting cedars. Mostly he just spent his time pidiling. Our dad did it his way and were are going miss him.
He is preceded in death by His wife Johnny Ruth Haller His parents Louis Thomas Haller Ollie Allie Haller His sisters Inetha L. Curry Opela F. Graw And Granddaughter Monica R. Haller
He is survived by His sisters Ollie E. Small Billie S. Miller Son John R. Haller And wife Tracy L. Haller Son Thomas C. Haller And wife Teresa L. Haller and 5 Grandkids, 6 Great grandkids Along with numerous nieces and nephews
A visitation for Louis will be held Tuesday, December 27, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Weed Corley Fish Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, 1200 S. Bagdad, Leander, TX 78641. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, December 28, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 1200 S. Bagdad, Leander, TX 78641. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, December 28, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery, 14501 North Ih-35, Pflugerville, TX 78660.
